Companion
This Study Companion is a comprehensive
self-study guide that covers many of the subjects of specific interest
to the permit technician. It contains 2006 International Building CodeŽ
information on administration, occupancy groups and types of
construction as well as zoning and sign requirements of the 2006
International Zoning CodeŽ. The Companion also references floor plans
from ICC's You Can Build It as well as legal information found in Legal
Aspects of Code Administration.
The Study Companion's 12 study
sessions provide practical learning assignments.
All study sessions contain specific
learning objectives, applicable code text and commentary, and a list of
questions summarizing key points for study. A 25-question quiz is
provided at the end of each study session enabling users to test their
knowledge of the material. An answer key indicates the correct response
and reference for each of the 300 total questions.
